Simple Home Made Serums For Lustrous and Shiny Hair

As we all wish for long, healthy, shiny and gorgeous tresses and so hair serum has becomes an important part of our hair care routine these days. Hair serum is basically a hair care solution which keeps our hair soft and shiny and prevents frizzy hair. Serum is mainly applied on wet hair. Hair serum contains important nutrients that nourishes the hair and helps in hair growth. Although there are hundreds of hair serum available in the market but to avoid those chemicals and artificially made products we are providing you with homemade hair serums which will not have any bad effect on your hair.

1. Serum 1: Using  Avocado oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil.

This serum will give life to your dull and lifeless hair. Take 4 tbsp of avocado oil in a bowl and add 2 tbsp each of jojoba oil, argan oil, grapeseed oil and almond oil in it. Stir it well for few seconds untill it mixes properly with a spoon. Store this serum in a glass bottle. Use right before washing your hair each time.

2. Serum 2: Using Jojoba oil and grapeseed essential oil

The grapeseed oil is very lightweight and so it easily penetrates into the hair shafts and moisturizes and nourishes them. Add 12 drops of grapeseed oil into 1 ounce of jojoba oil. Mix them properly and your serum is ready. Apply them on damp hair. (Note: You can also mix the 5-6 drop of eucalyptus and peppermint oil in it for additional benefits)

Coffee strengthens hair and also acts as a great color booster for hair. Honey adds a natural shine to the hair and keeps it moisturized. Take 4 tbsp of coffee powder and mix 2 tbsp of honey and 4 tbsp of boiled hot water in it. Wet your hair a little and apply on hair and leave it for 15-20 minutes and wash off with shampoo.

This serum will give you wavy hairs. Add the peppermint oil to the jojoba oil and stir with a spoon. Use this serum on damp hair and keep for 30 minutes and wash with cold water and see the difference.

5. Serum 5: Using Coconut and Castor Oil

This serum is best for dry and rough hair. This serum traps the moisture in hair shafts making it smooth and shiny. Take 2 parts of castor oil and one part of coconut oil and mix them well. Apply it on your hair and keep it for few hours and wash it.

This serum provides you with straight hair. Take 2 tbsp each of Soy oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, olive oil and mix them well. Warm up slightly before using. While using this serum, make sure to apply thoroughly on hair from root to tip so that each strand is covered. Keep for 15-20 minutes and then Wash off.

7. Serum 7: Using Grapeseed, Vitamin E capsule – 2 and Lavender oil

This serum makes  dry and brittle hair strong and healthy. Take 8 tablespoons of grapeseed oil and mix it with 10 drops of lavender oil and then pour 2 vitamin e capsule in the mixture properly. Apply it on your hair. Keep for few hours and wash it off .

This serum gives feels of light on hair and pretty refreshing too. Heat coconut oil and heena leaves on low flame for 20-30 minutes. Remove this from heat and strain the oil and Let it cool. Add 3-4 tbsp of fresh aloe vera juice, 3 tbsp jojoba oil, 4-5  drops each of vitamin E oil and lavender oil. Mix them thoroughly. Store it in a bottle and always shake well before using. Use this hair serum after you wash your hair.

Simple Home Remedies For Skin In Summers

There is one drawback to this beautiful weather that it not only tans your skin but also causes your pores get clogged with dust. So, protect your skin this summer by heat, hot winds and warmth of Sun by using simple home remedies.

1. Remain Hydrated:- Water is the best remedy for every skin problems as it helps removing all the toxins and waste material from your body. Drink excess of liquid in summer like fruit juices, coconut water, green tea, buttermilk or just water to keep your body hydrated and detoxify the skin and keep it soft, dewy and clear.



2. Exercise Regularly:- Exercise is very good remedy to remain healthy all through your life. It helps in removing the toxins from your body and gives you glowing and healthy skin. Exercise also increase your blood circulation and promoted blood supply which results in healthy and glowing skin. c) Make cucumber juice and apply it on face for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it with water. This will reduce the effect of sunrays and will neutralize and soothe your skin.

d) Take a teaspoon of gram flour and mix it with teaspoon of milk and a few drops of lime juice. Apply it on face and wash you face after 30 minutes. Get the glow and radiance to on your face quickly.

Simple Steps For Home Manicure

Take a good quality nail remover and remove the already applied nail paint from your nails properly. After removing the nail paint, gently wash your hands with soap and lukewarm water and then gently pat to dry with a soft towel.

Properly trim your nails using a nail cutter to the length of your choice. Once the nails are trimmed take a nail file and start filing your nails in properly in one direction. Start from one edge and move to the top smoothly and do not file your nails back and forth.

Take lukewarm water in a bowl with a moisturizing soap or any liquid soap and then soak your hands for 5-7 minutes. This will make the cuticles soft and remove the dirt under your finger nails. Pat to dry using a soft and clean towel. Remember the water should not be too hot and do not keep your hands for too long.

Step 4: - Remove Cuticles 
Take a cuticle cream or oil and properly apply it all over your fingers. This will help in softening the right spots. Take a cuticle stick and gently push back the cuticles one at a time. Trim the skin with the help of a cuticle nipper, but very carefully without getting cut in your cuticles as it will harm your nails and also cause bleeding.

Step 5: - Scrub Your Hands 
Use your daily scrub or you can also prepare a homemade scrub with olive oil and salt/sugar together. Scrub your hands for 2-3 minutes, but very carefully without touching your fingers and nails. Wash it properly with fresh water and pat to dry with a soft towel. This will make your hands clean and remove dead skin.

Step 6:- Moisturize your hands 
Take your favorite moisturizer and properly apply it on your hands and cuticles. Gently massage your hands and fingers for a few minutes. Remove any excess cream from fingers (except from the cuticles as it needs to be well moisturized) by wiping as with a damp cloth. This will make your hands feel relaxed.

Step 7:- Apply Base coat 
Before applying nail paint, use the base coat with nail strengthening formula and let it dry completely.

Step 8 :-  Apply Your Favorite Nail Paint
Start applying nail paint from one side of nail and apply a very thin coat of nail paint on your nails. After the first coat dries, you can apply the next coat for more shine. Let it dry completely. Apply the nail polish in smooth strokes moving from base of nail to tip of nail in three strokes starting with one in the middle, and then one on each side.
